How we work
Our Communication Process
Most painting frustrations come down to communication, not paint. Here is exactly how a Trailblaze Paints project is planned, scheduled and reported from the first call to the final walkthrough.

Homeowners tell us the same thing again and again: they do not mind a project taking time, they mind not knowing what is happening. So we built our process around answers you get before you have to ask for them.
Every project follows the same six steps, whether it is a single room, a full exterior repaint or a kitchen cabinet refinish.
Your first call or form request
You reach out by phone or through the quote form and tell us what you are hoping to change. You will typically hear back within one business day so a walkthrough can be scheduled around your calendar.
The on-site walkthrough
We walk the home together, look at the surfaces that need attention, talk through color and finish options, and note anything that needs repair before paint goes on. Questions get answered in person rather than by guesswork.
A written estimate you can read
You receive a free, no-obligation estimate that spells out the scope, the preparation included, and the products we plan to use. No hidden fees and no pressure to book on the spot.
Scheduling and pre-project prep
Once you approve the estimate we confirm start dates, tell you what to expect each day, and explain how furniture, flooring and landscaping will be protected while the crew is working.
Updates while the work happens
The crew keeps you informed as the project moves along, flags anything unexpected before acting on it, and keeps work areas organized and cleaned up at the end of each day.
Final walkthrough and warranty
We walk the finished project with you, correct anything that does not meet the standard, and hand over the details of the 5-year workmanship warranty before we leave.
Where it applies
The same process on every type of project
Questions
Questions about how we communicate
How quickly will someone respond after I request a quote?+
You will typically hear from us within one business day, and often much sooner. We treat a fast, clear response as the first part of the job.
Who is my point of contact during the project?+
You stay in contact with the Trailblaze team running your project, so questions go to someone who already knows the scope, the schedule and the finishes chosen for your home.
What happens if something unexpected comes up mid-project?+
If we uncover hidden damage, moisture issues or repairs outside the original scope, we stop, show you what we found, and agree on the next step before any additional work happens.
Do I need to be home while the crew is working?+
Not necessarily. Many homeowners are at work during the day. We agree on access, protection and daily updates up front so the project keeps moving either way.
